Cradley Heath Libs' double bowls successTHE bowls team of Cradley Heath Liberal Club is celebrating after winning the Cradley and Sidaway Bowling League, and also adding the Knock Out Cup, to complete a proud double.Whilst the rebuilding of the club headquarters has been in progress, the team has been playing home matches at Haden Hill Park. The new green at Spinners End is being laid next month in readiness for the 2008 season. Mark Taylor of the club said: "I would on behalf of Cradley Heath Liberal Club, like to thank Mr Colin Grove for making the league a great success, and we thank Dave Daniels for his assistance also." The team is made up of captain Dave Godsall, and players Dennis Stewart, Mark Taylor, Barry Hardwick, Paul Edwards, Grahame Pearson, Les Godsall, Arthur Cook, Mick Fellows, David Chater, Alan Mole, Trevor Harris. |
